Hi Lesley - We're honoured to know our music is going to be part of your big day:-) Best wishes . . . Chris
Hope you don't mind,I would like to have your fantastic music playing as I say my wedding vows next June.It would be perfect as I can't have the outdoor pagan ceremony I wanted-though my registrar seemed to overlook my pagan vows I wrote for a cival ceremony.Anyway Revelations from Swirling Dreams to me creates the magical mood and brings beauty to an otherwise formal atmosphere. It would be so special to me.Mank Thanks Lesley x :)
Nice pics:-))
....oh sorry I was looking for the toilet....(closes door)
Love the teabreak page X
Hello Tommy from N Ireland:-) Thanks for your enquiry about newsletters (not displayed because of address details). In the interests of conservation and admin costs, we have no plans to produce paper based mailings. Our website newspage is updated each month with information we hope you folks out there will find interesting. Please let us know if there is anything you'd like to see included that we're not including already and we'll talk to our website pixies to see what we can do. Thanks for your interest . . . Chris
Hello Emma. Nice to hear from you and thanks for your comments:-) We managed to find you on Google but couldn't find any artwork examples. The description of your style and way of working sound intriguing though - perfect browsing for when we next take a Tea Break. Do you have a website we can look at? Regards . . . Chris
Hi Guys - just been checking out your website from down here in NZ!. Originally born in Wilts, I have always retained a deep rooted fascination with the sacred, pre-historical sites that abound in the UK and which your music particularly evokes/inspires for me as a visual artist. I still own a much treasured Stonehenge tape purchased back in 93 & have recently picked up a copy of Sacred Circle...truly lovely. Now planning to get my hands on Raven, Lost Henge and Secrets of Avalon to continue to inspire me in my studio!!!. Regards....Emma. Napier, New Zealand.
Good spot Lesley :-) You're not the first person to have noticed a similarity in style. One review even described Wychazel as a Runestone wannabee! We were just pleased to know they'd heard of us. Thanks for getting in touch. Regards . . . Chris
I knew it!!Wychazel IS Runestone!!I have all your albums, and I never tire of listening to them. They are magical after a bad day at work.Keep up the great work.xx
Hello Flame & Arcana (long time no hear . . . ). Thanks for getting in touch:-) Druid II has now been mastered and we were listening to the whole album for the first time last night. Exciting! It will be with the duplicators next week for release as soon as they've done their bit - hopefully early September. We think you're going to like it:-) Regards . . . Chris
HURRY UP AND FINISH DRUID II. x
Hello Runestone, beautiful music.
I wish you all best.
Hey Rhaevyn - It's good to hear you've found our music and thanks for spreading the word about us:-) We'd love to know the origins of your name if you feel like sending us an email? Regards . . . Chris
I, too, have just discovered Runestone music. There is so much New Age and relaxing music around to choose from but from the moment I saw and heard The Raven and The Moon I was hooked! I've told a few friends already about your music.
I have purchased five of your albums now and am looking forward to getting the new one as well. Stunning, stirring, gorgeous music it is. I am transported to mystical places whenever I listen to it. Keep up the magical work!
Blessed Be
Hi Chris,
Thanks for kind words. I love instrumental music and, yes, obsession is clearly the key word and the instrumental stuff is only the tip of the iceberg. Don't get me started on my Prog and other Rock collection hehe. Glad that there are others like you who are deeply into collecting music.
Look forward to Druid II and now have True Crystals to look forward to today.
Cheers and a big hello to Robert.
David
Hello David - We're both very touched by your comment and are pleased you've now found us in our post-NW incarnation. Hopefully you won't have to wait too many months for DRUID II as the work is going brilliantly with the end of the writing now in sight. It is shaping up to be nicely evocative of the original. Your music collection sounds huge! People tell me I have way too many CD's (boxes in different rooms etc) but I find it strangely reassuring to know that your obsession appears to be far more out of control than mine. I shan't feel bad about buying a few more now:-) Regards . . . Chris
High Robert and Chris,
I have been a regular buyer of music from NW since the 80s (plus many other sites) and have all your albums plus the solo stuff. I got a listen to samples from the lastest album at Med's site and it sounds wonderful. It is on my shopping list. Noone quite produces that perfect balance between ambient and melody as you guys do. Certainly music to take you places and I feel your music has developed so much from the early days while retaining the keys style and sounds that make your music very special. The new project with Medwyn is something I cannot wait to hear.
I love many forms/styles of instrumental music collected since early 70s (around 3000) and there are so many wonderful artists out there who deserve recognition - you guys included. I have managed to find the wheat from the chaff over the years and love to tout artists like you and Medwyn through various rock and music forums.
Wonderful site, very professional and will be a regular visitor. Best wishes for the future and keep producing your wonderful haunting music.
Regards
David
A thousand thanks for your reckless vote of confidence Katie. I shall bring biscuits to the next "Drop-In" to celebrate my royalties windfall:-)) Chris
Hi Chris, just having a look around your site. Very nice. You have a few royalties coming your way 'cos I have recently bought all three of your last albums in one go from Wendy Goodall's ebay shop. Have not heard them all yet but LOVE 'forgotten shores'. Really pleased to hear that you both will be working on Druid 2 with Medwyn Goodall. Keep up the good work and enjoy your cuppa! All the best, Katie X
Hi Martin - Thanks for your comment. We're always pleased to welcome new listeners. Our 2 earliest CD's are now quite difficult to get hold of but they do crop up from time to time on Ebay (not to mention Boot Fairs). All later titles (from Crystal Lord onward) are generally available. So, happy listening and best wishes:-) Chris
Hi Guys, I've only just discovered your music, I bought Crystal Lord from a car boot sale........ of all places....... because the cover looked interesting. What a superb find, I've now bought all the other Runestone albums from Amazon....... Really looking forward to the new album..
Thanks Arcana! We hope you won't have to wait too long. True Crystals is planned for release sometime before Easter and we are already working on our next one. As ever, watch this space . . .
Best wishes for the new year . . . Chris
Happy New Year Runestone. I love the new guitar and look forward to your next CD:-)
Hello Carol. Thanks for your comment and welcome to the Runestone listening circle:-) Glad to hear you like our Raven & Moon CD. If you get stuck for Christmas present ideas, we have a couple of other CD's available from Medwyn's website too . . .
Best wishes . . . Chris
Hi! Runestone
Just purchased The Raven and The Moon and had to stop by and tell you what a lovely album it is. Playing as I write. Found you through the MG Music website and really pleased that I did.
Kind Regards
Carol
Terrific studio pages!! I love all the guitar pics:-))
Hi Dave. Thanks for letting us know about the Gemini Sun website. I've just had a look and - yes - it is the same True Series. We don't know the release details yet but will put up a posting as soon as we do. Thanks for your encouraging comment and . . . we're still thinking about doing that photo:-)
Regards . . . Chris
Chris & Robert. A question if I may. I read on the news section that you have a new recording for the "True Series". Is this the same True Series that appears on the Gemini Sun web site of Nicholas Gunn? Thanks and I can't wait for the new recording.
Thanks Dave . . . hmmm . . . you're not the first to suggest a photo. We have a list of things we want to add to our website and a photo is gradually creeping its way to the top. Thanks for your interest:-)
Chris & Robert,
What can I say except WOW! I love your work and can't get enough. I look forward to your new offering, hopefully soon! BTW, are you guys camera shy? You should put your mugs on your "Meet Runestone" page. Slainte!
Dave
Awww shucks Peter . . . you've made us both blush:-)
It is always a pleasure and a privilidge to work alongside Runestone who's dedicaton and versitility create modern New Age and atmospheric masterpeices.
I am proud to consider both Chris and Robert not only talented assocates but close friends, a sentiment that all who have been touched by their music is bound to share.
Raven and the Moon is totally brilliant. We absolutely LOVE the Honey and Mead track! Well done Runestone - more of the same please :D
Dear Chris
The magic of Music has always served the purpose of connecting us with the origins of the Om-niverse, that quantum space that dwells somewhere between the All and the No-thing. Your sensitive Sounds connect with this space, with this dream, ephemeral, elusive, yet palpable (or audible) and real - Your Music! I hope that as the dream grows, you and Robert continue to shower us with your ever exquisite Music.
Maybel - Tunbridge Wells
LOVE The Raven and the Moon!!! Everybody in the world should have this album:-))

Hi Chris and Rob
Good stuff, I'll be visiting a lot. Great Music, great album covers.
See you at MG.
All the best,
Paul
Great website, love the jukebox. Am feeling inspired to get your new album. I have two others which I love listening to. Unlike a lot of new age music, I never seem to get bored of Runestones. The music always seems to flow and blend, never to jar - great stuff guys, keep up the good work!
Wow! What a fantastic website. It has made me want the new album even more now, and I can't wait to hear it so I can be transported into yet another relaxing and pleasent landscape runestone style!
Am ready to be carried off to the sounds of runic tones and magical sounds, with which I can enter into my endless dream world, so that I should awake refreshed once more.
Am looking forward to further developments.
When did you escape!? All the guards at MG Music have been sacked !
:))

Love the Jukebox. Looking forward to hearing more of the new album. How about adding a Runestone photo gallery or some pics in the "meet Runestone" section?
